Inspired by Freddy and Koa
Hi! We're Kathryn and Derek, the co-founders of The Pawwp Company. Pawwps was inspired by our two doodles, Freddy and Koa. After watching Koa constantly shake her head and bite at the noisy, dangling tags on her collar, we knew there had to be a better way. We wanted a dog ID tag that kept our dogs safely identified without the jingling, dangling, or discomfort of traditional tags.
What started as sketches became two years of designing, prototyping, and testing until we created the clip-on dog ID tag we wished existed. Pictured here is Freddy, our resident model. Koa was feeling a little camera shy. 🐾
